The first day includes the spectacular crossing of the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260 meters above sea level), offering breathtaking panoramic views and encounters with authentic traditional Berber villages. A must-see visit to the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, allows you to explore this architectural complex that served as a backdrop for famous films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones.

The adventure continues through the lush Draa Valley, home to Morocco’s longest river, with its extensive palm groves and traditional kasbahs. Upon arriving in Zagora, visitors enjoy a sunset camel ride, followed by a magical night in a traditional Berber camp under the starry desert sky.

Day 1 MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS – OUARZAZATE – DRAA VALLEY – ZAGORA

Departure for a 2-day, 1-night excursion to the Zagora Desert from your accommodation or Marrakech's main square at 8:00 AM. We depart south from Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass at an altitude of 2,260 meters. We'll make stops to enjoy spectacular views of the High Atlas. From there, we'll continue our journey to Ouarzazate, a city known as the gateway to the desert, where many international films have been shot, such as Asterix & Obelix, Lawrence of Arabia, and Gladiator.
Lunch will be served at a restaurant with panoramic views of the Taourirt Kasbah (the old town of Ouarzazate) or in the city center. Afterward, we'll continue our journey across the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the Draa Valley (the largest valley in Morocco). In the afternoon, we arrive in Zagora, where we'll exchange our 4x4 vehicle for camels for a scenic ride to the camp.

Dinner and accommodation in traditional desert nomad tents. (An unforgettable night under the stars with a live drum music show after dinner).

Day 2 ZAGORA – AGDZ – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH

We wake up early to watch the sunrise from the nearest dune to the camp. Free time to take magical photos and enjoy the silence of the Zagora desert. After a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, you have the option of returning by car to the paved road or by camel, where our vehicle awaits to begin the journey back to Marrakech. We continue our route towards the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (an ancient 11th-century fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site). We cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-N-Tinifift pass. Around noon, we arrive at the famous village of Ait Ben Haddou. Free time to visit the Kasbah and have lunch. In the afternoon, we return to Marrakech. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains, we travel to the Red City of Morocco (Marrakech). We are then transferred to the nearest point accessible by car, marking the end of our 2-day, 1-night excursion from Marrakech to the Zagora desert.
