Overview:

After breakfast, departure at 9:30 a.m. for an excursion to the Ourika Valley from Marrakech. We will leave Marrakech behind and head by car towards the Atlas Mountains, to the Ourika Valley, which is a typical region of the High Atlas. We will make our first stop to visit a traditional Berber market in Ghmat (Friday) or TNINE OURIKA (Monday). Before continuing on our way, we will visit a traditional Berber house and learn about the life of the indigenous Berber tribes of Morocco (16th and 17th centuries). You will be able to experience breathtaking views of the village and the valley from the roof of the house.

The family of the house performs a tea ceremony and demonstrates how to make mint tea, served with a traditional country breakfast (bread, butter, honey, olive oil, and tea).

After leaving the Berber house, we continue to the furthest point, Setti Fatma, 65 kilometers south of Marrakech. It is a pleasant village where you can go on many walks. The most typical mountain hike to visit is the one that leads to a waterfall with seven cascades.

Lunch at a charming restaurant with beautiful views of the valley, serving a variety of traditional Moroccan cuisine.

After lunch, we return to Marrakech, dropping you off wherever you want or wherever we can reach by car, ending our 1-day excursion service from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley.
