From Casablanca
This 7-day trip from Casablanca to Marrakech is a comprehensive experience for discovering Morocco, from its imperial cities to the heart of the Sahara. It begins in modern Casablanca with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, continues to the capital city of Rabat, and ends the first day in historic Fez. There, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the magical medina of Fez el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring its madrasas, palaces, and the famous traditional souks that retain their medieval essence.
The journey continues south, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and the fertile Ziz Valley, until you reach the golden dunes of Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy a camel ride and an unforgettable night in a traditional Berber tent camp under a starlit sky. From there, the adventure takes you into the Ouzina Desert, passing through Khamlia with its Gnawa music, the ancient rock carvings of Taouz, and an authentic lunch with a Berber family. Amidst wild landscapes and hidden oases, you’ll discover nomadic life, the barite mines, and the mystical lost city of Oubahlou, all accompanied by magical sunsets over the Erg Ouzina dunes.
On the final leg, you’ll explore the natural and architectural wonders of southern Morocco: the spectacular Todra Gorges, the picturesque Dades Valley, the Valley of Roses, and the Skoura palm grove. You’ll also visit the cinematic city of Ouarzazate and the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, after crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, you will arrive in vibrant Marrakech, where tradition and modernity intertwine, closing a journey full of culture, nature and authenticity.

After breakfast, your local guide will arrive at your accommodation at 10:00 AM to begin the tour of the Medina of Fez el Bali, one of the largest medieval sites still standing in the world. The entire medina, with its souks and medieval alleyways, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will enter through the Bab Boujloud gate and explore the souk with its narrow, labyrinthine streets, frequently dodging mules laden with heavy bundles.
We will visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, with its exquisite cedar woodwork, stucco, and marble and onyx decorations. We will also see the Zaouia of Moulay Idriss, the city's founder, the Andalusian Quarter with its mosque and the Es-Sahrij Madrasa, and the former Dar Batha Palace, built in the Andalusian-Arabic style and dedicated to the arts and traditions of Fez. The Al-Karaouine University Mosque, one of the oldest in the world, founded in 859 by Fatima al-Fihri, and the tanners' and dyers' quarter, where techniques have remained unchanged since the Middle Ages, are among the highlights. In the afternoon, your guide will drop you off at your accommodation or in the medina.
