We will visit the ARGAN oil cooperative, where we will discover the production process and learn about the countless benefits it has for the human body. We will continue south and then turn off onto a 6 km track that will take us to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit its famous Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). This spectacular setting has been used as a backdrop for such renowned films as Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara. We will have lunch in the village and then continue our journey to Ouarzazate, considered the great gateway to the desert, the starting point for major expeditions and home to the great Kasbah of Taourirt. We will then continue along a road dotted with beautiful kasbahs, each one completely different from the next. After several stops, we will arrive at one of the highlights of the south: the Todra Gorges, 300 m high. The Todra River has formed a gorge with vertical walls of enormous proportions and great beauty. It is a paradise for climbers and a unique place. We will have lunch on site and continue towards the desert until we reach the impressive Merzouga Dunes, where we will have a cup of tea while we rest for a while. We will leave our bags at the hotel and set off in a caravan of dromedaries, which will take us to the Haimas camp in an hour. We will stop halfway to watch the sunset over the dunes and stretch our legs before continuing on to the camp. Before or after dinner, we will have the opportunity to climb the dunes near the camp to enjoy the peace and quiet and the stars of this famous desert. We will spend the night in a haima.

We will get up early to watch the sunrise over a dune and then have a leisurely breakfast. You can choose to return to the hotel by camel or 4×4. We will then continue to Taouz, from where we will take the old Paris Dakar Rally track to see some wonderful rock engravings, and we will pass through the village of Jdaid where we will eat at the home of a Berber family (Berber pizza and tea), and where we can also get henna tattoos from a person specialized in this art. It is the longest river in Morocco and crosses the entire country to Mauritania, with another part reaching the white beach. We will cross the Anti-Atlas (Ait Saouen) to reach Ouarzazate, where we will have lunch in a typical restaurant in the city.
